If, and only if, you click Accept analytics on the cookie banner, this site loads Google Analytics 4. GA4 collects:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Approximate location (country / region, derived from your IP)
• Device type, browser, and operating system
• Referring site (e.g. a search engine or LinkedIn)

IP addresses are anonymised by Google before storage. I do not collect names, emails, or any identifying information through analytics.

If you choose Reject, no analytics scripts are loaded and no analytics data is collected.

I use this data to understand which articles and case studies are useful, where readers arrive from, and where the site is broken. That's it. There is no advertising, remarketing, or third-party data sharing on this site.

GA4 retains user-level and event-level data for 14 months. After that, aggregated reports remain but individual events are deleted by Google.

Under GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data I hold about you. Since I only run GA4 (and only after explicit consent), I generally hold no identifying data. Email me at ingimar@ingimar.dk for any request.
